Meet Our Therapists

Jenny Maldonado, MA, LMFT

Owner / Lead Therapist

I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and am a Certified Grief- Informed Professional. I offer specialized support for individuals and couples navigating the overlap of anxiety and loss, trauma, and major life transitions. I have specialized training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Expressive Art Therapy using Jungian sandtray and sand play modalities. As an Experiential therapist, I value the full spectrum of human experience and approach my work with cultural humility, ensuring that respect, autonomy, and self-direction are central to the therapeutic relationship.

For more than a decade, I have guided individuals, couples, and families in rebuilding trust and strengthening relationships—particularly in the aftermath of unexpected change, emotional distress, or profound loss. My clinical experience includes treating anxiety, depression, and grief, as well as supporting couples and families navigating marital strain, blended family challenges, and life-altering transitions. I also bring extensive experience working with couples who have experienced the loss of a child due to illness, accident, or violence.

I’m a native of Green Bay, Wisconsin, where growing up on Lake Michigan instilled in me the values of hard work, persistence, and respect for steady effort over time. My Midwestern roots shaped a practical, down-to-earth approach to problem-solving and a deep appreciation for human resilience. Coming from a large extended family of tool and die makers, I was raised with a mindset of building, adapting, and finding workable solutions. That perspective is part of who I am—and it naturally carries into my work. I bring creativity and resourcefulness to therapy, and I see those same strengths in the people I work with.

Caroline “Carrie” Howell, MFTi

Therapist

I strive to create a supportive, safe space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered. I work with individuals, couples, families, and teens navigating anxiety, life transitions, identity questions, relationship challenges, and emotional overwhelm.

My approach is rooted in empathy, curiosity, and cultural responsiveness. Therapy with me is collaborative — we tailor our work together to meet your unique goals and experiences, whether you’re stepping into therapy for the first time or returning for deeper growth. I believe in helping clients show up in their relationships as their whole selves, build connection, and deepen intimacy.

I hold a Bachelor’s in Human and Family Development and Family Studies and am completing my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2026. Outside the office, I enjoy reading, crochet, being outdoors, and time with my husband, children, and our Cavapoo, Charlie.
